Let’s Connect® Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: Virtual Training
By combining Let’s Connect® and Trauma-Focused CBT, providers can address the trauma symptoms often experienced by youth experiencing trauma while also further strengthening the parent-child relationship and youth and parent social and emotional competencies known to promote resilience. Families learn how to apply LC skills to engage in healthy discussions about family traumatic experiences, which enhances their capacity to fully support youth in sharing their trauma experiences during TF-CBT.
This 3.5-hour training focuses on the role of emotion-focused parenting in trauma treatment, identifying families who would most benefit from this integration, and detailed guidance on how to integrate LC with TF-CBT into weekly family sessions.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Professionals such as social workers, psychologists, and counselors with at least 2 years of clinical/counselling experience working with children and youths and have some experience working with parents.
Training Prerequisite
Those who have attended 2-day Let’s Connect® Training for Family Providers and are also trained in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
AWARD
Participants who meet 80% class attendance will be awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment.
TRAINING FEES
EARLY BIRD Cost: $160 (SGD) per participant, if registered by Aug 10, 2024. Hurry!
REGULAR Cost: $200 (SGD) per participant.
Note: VWOs (Voluntary Welfare Organization) may apply for PCG grants for their participants.
